November ComScore Data Suggest PC Search Volume May Have Peaked

Here are some search results and numbers for the month of November 2012. November usually has a high increase in searches due to the beginning of the holiday shopping period.

69.4% searches came from Google.
25.4% of searches were from Bing.

Yahoo, AOL and Ask network were hardly even players. ComScore estimated over 17 billion searches in the month of November.  ComScore is the go to source for analytics for the digital world.

Another area that is looked at highly are searches from smart phones. It’s because of the ever increasing amount of searches being done from these devices, that makes it even more crucial for Google and Google maps to get back into the iPhone.
